Arrieta
Arrieta is a small village in the north of Lanzarote, very close to the other popular village known as Punta Mujeres.
It’s a corner of the island where you can delight in walking through its narrow streets, discovering its food, staying in its welcoming apartments, and bathing in its excellent beaches. A village where you can forget about everything, where peace and quiet radiates, and the bustle of other parts of Lanzarote is left at the door. An ideal village for those looking to banish the stress of their everyday lives.
Beaches
In Arrieta, Playa de La Garita stands out – it is a perfect beach with an enormous pier that stretches out towards the horizon, bathed in sand and ideal for lying down to sunbathe, taking a dip in the waters or simply for a stroll. It is also popular among surfers. And while we’re talking about Arrieta, we have to mention El Charcón, a tiny cove under the popular Casa Juanita.
Gastronomy
But if there’s something that everyone who visits Arrieta can agree on, it’s the quality of the food on offer. Restaurante El Amanecer is outstanding and is where you can try what is considered by many to be the best fresh fish in all of Lanzarote. And while the quality of the food is important, the way you enjoy it is too, and doing it on a terrace overlooking the Atlantic is priceless.
