Bajo El Risco

Under the Famara cliffs, on the north coast of Lanzarote

Playa Bajo el Risco (Under the Cliff Beach) owes its name to its location under the well-known Famara cliffs, on the north coast of Lanzarote.

If you don’t access the beach via a boat, you have to walk 40 minutes along a path known as Camino de los Gracioseros. It’s an ideal beach for those looking for tranquility, thanks to its location and calm waters, in which you need to walk several meters out to lose contact with the sand and dive into its waters.

As well as being able to enjoy absolute tranquility, you can also enjoy spectacular views of the small islands that make up the Chinijo Archipelago, located just metres away from Lanzarote.
