The Caleta del Congrio is within the Los Ajaches protected natural area, in the far south of Lanzarote, where there is a series of unspoilt beaches known as the Papagayo Beaches (playas del Papagayo).

In the past, it was an exclusively nudist beach, but over time it has become a place where you can find both nudists and those who prefer to keep their clothes on. There is a camping area nearby which is frequented throughout the year by hundreds of caravans and campers, especially in the summer.

It can be reached via stone steps and has secure parking.
