Caleton Blanco

On the north coast of Lanzarote, near the town of Órzola

Caletón Blanco is a cove on the north coast of Lanzarote, near the town of Órzola.

It is part of the Malpaís de la Corona, where lava, when it reaches the sea, has created a natural breakwater to make the waves break earlier. This leaves a calm sea and a bed of white sand which contrasts with the black rocks that are typical of the area.

The cove is found just 50 metres from the road that leads to Órzola (LZ-1) and also has parking. It is fairly popular, but never overcrowded.
