Papagayo Beach (Playa del Papagayo) is in the south of Lanzarote, within the Los Ajaches protected natural area, where there is a series of wild beaches known as the Papagayo Beaches (Playas del Papagayo), of which Papagayo is the most popular.

It’s a beach with fine golden sand, protected from the wind by the small hills surrounding it. Bathing conditions are ideal, with a sea that stays calm all year round. Also, there is a restaurant nestled in the hillside, which offers an excellent panoramic view of the area.

Due to its location within a protected area, Papagayo Beach can only be accessed via unpaved roads.
