Beaches
Playa Blanca’s beaches are simply spectacular. They spread throughout the south of Lanzarote, and the highlight is definitely the Papagayo Beaches (Playas del Papagayo) – a series of small unspoilt golden sand beaches in a protected natural area. Although they’re not exactly in Playa Blanca, they are very close and are just a few minutes by car.
Within the town you can find Playa Flamingo, with golden sands, a promenade, and well-equipped; Playa Blanca Beach, right in the town centre; and Playa Dorada, quite popular and very busy, with clear waters and beach bars.
Nightlife
The nightlife is blessed by lovely temperatures and very light wind and takes place in the surroundings of the marina. There are pubs and clubs, as well as bars with live music and terraces where you can have a drink by the Atlantic Ocean.
It’s one of the nightlife hotspots in Lanzarote, with much of it happening inside the hotels themselves.
